High-Risk Obstetrics for the Family Physician

Event Description

This course will combine didactic lectures, case discussions, and the latest information on the diagnosis and management of challenging high-risk obstetrics patients. Featuring new data from clinical trials and evidence-based updates, this integrated program will address essential learning for all members of the obstetrics care team. Presentations will cover practical information on topics including induction, steroid use, Preterm Prelabor Rupture of Membranes, hypertensive disorders, gestational diabetes, Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome, anxiety and mood disorders, nausea, and prematurity prevention. Panel discussions and Q&A sessions will allow time for interaction with the faculty members to address audience questions and barriers to optimal patient care.

    Rebecca F. Dunsmoor-Su, M.D., MSCE

    Dr. Dunsmoor-Su received her Medical Doctorate from Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. She then also completed her Residency at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She specializes in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Swedish Medical and Washington Providers.
