This annual update in OB/GYN is intended to review topics that are timely and relevant to general and subspecialty OB/GYN providers. Each presentation will address its topic with a focus on the pertinent evidence in the literature that guides clinical care. A multidisciplinary and inclusive approach will be used to address latest controversies in the specialty relevant to each topic. One half day is obstetric and gynecologic topics and the other half to laparoscopic training. The obstetrics topics to be explored include reproductive health and the environment and marijuana use during pregnancy and lactation. Gynecologic topics will cover abnormal uterine bleeding and adolescent gynecology. A lively debate will take place at lunchtime, incorporating several speakers’ views.
