The program has been designed for obstetrician-gynecologists, Ob/Gyn nurse practitioners, family practitioners and primary care providers in clinical practice in Virginia and nearby states. This one-day program will provide an intense update on techniques in operative hysteroscopy, colon cancer screening, preconception care, ERAS for cesarean delivery, identifying, understanding and working with victims of human trafficking, pelvic floor disorders ? a multidisciplinary approach, OB genetics update, updates in routine newborn care for the obstetrician, obstetrical consideration in HIV and hepatitis C, and gynecologic oncology for the generalist.
- Describe key components of implementation of enhanced recovery after cesarean delivery protocol including opioid-sparing pain management.
- Develop fundamental knowledge of operative hysteroscopy while reviewing risks, benefits, and management of complications.
